The Hollywood Stunt Driver series has been a staple of the park’s entertainment lineup since 2008, when the original show debuted. It was later replaced by Hollywood Stunt Driver 2 in 2014, which has remained in operation for the past ten years, continuing to draw large crowds with its precision driving and cinematic action sequences.

An all-new stunt show is set to launch in December, marking a new chapter for the park’s stunt arena. We are very excited to see what this new show is and to experience it!

In early September, Showtime Entertainment Production, the company now taking over the show, issued a casting call for experienced motorcycle stunt riders and precision drivers based in Australia. By early October, construction work had begun in the arena, with auditions reportedly underway as part of preparations for the upcoming production.

The closure is part of renewal efforts across the Village Roadshow Theme Parks, with Sea World also preparing to retire its Dolphin Affinity Presentation later this month ahead of a new show in December.

These changes are part of VRTPs efforts to refresh its offerings ahead of the summer season. We speculate that the timing could relate to the sale of VRTP by BGH Capital, though no official statement has been made.
