Construction on the Dreamworld Express has officially resumed, with significant visible progress taking place along the route between Kenny and Belinda’s Dreamland and Rivertown.

As reported by us in mid-July, works on the classic railway was expected to restart soon, which has been confirmed by on-site activity.

Earlier this month, YouTube channel Theme Park Ogre shared footage showing land preparation and construction along sections of track bordering Rivertown and Kenny and Belinda's Dreamland.

This was later supported by a Parkz user, who shared an image of a sign reading “JWB Construction Manager”, a rail construction specialist company.

On 5 August, The Adventures of Theme Park Girl shared images revealing the original track exposed after being previously covered since the construction of Rivertown, with groundworks completed in preparation for new track installation.

A follow-up post showed that track has now been laid in this initial section, with the station near Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant also uncovered and undergoing similar preparation.

The Dreamworld Express remains one of the park’s most iconic attractions, and the return to a full circuit is eagerly anticipated. We look forward to riding the complete loop once again, later this year.
